EuroTech Universities Alliance
TUM is a founding member of the EuroTech Universities Alliance, a strategic partnership of six leading technical universities in Europe:
- Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Denmark
- Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland
- Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), The Netherlands
- École Polytechnique (l'X), France
- Israel Institute of Technology (Technion), Israel
- Technische Universität München (TUM), Germany
All six combine excellence in research and technology with an entrepreneurial culture. Together, they are a strong voice for research, innovation and outstanding education for students and young researchers. The extensive collaboration between research and teaching is supplemented by interactions at the university management level.
EuroTech Joint Supervision Program
Within the Joint Supervision Program, each doctoral candidate will have a TUM supervisor and a co-supervisor at another EuroTech university who will jointly define the individual doctoral project and supervision. [more]
Summer/Winter Schools
To enhance research collaboration and international networking amongs doctoral candidates, the EuroTech Alliance funds the organization of Summer/Winter Schools, organized by doctoral candidates for their peers. [more]
