At the summer school, prominent speakers from Georgetown University Medical Center (GUMC), Technical University of Munich (TUM), National Institutes of Health, Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland will give talks on current topics in Neuroengineering. The summer school will also include a student poster session and opportunities to visit some of the nation’s capital’s iconic sites.
GUMC is an internationally recognized academic medical center, with a strong research focus on neuroscience. It is also home to a renowned bioethics/neuroethics center that is rooted in its commitment to inquiry and discovery based in Jesuit values to pursue outcomes for the common good.
