Are you midway through your doctoral journey and wondering how to make the most of the second half? In our info event “Halfway There – Navigating the Second Half of Your Doctorate”, we will guide you through key steps and resources to help you stay on track and prepare for a successful completion. From formal requirements and publication strategies to essential support services, this session will provide practical insights and answer your questions.
Among others, we will be covering the following topics:
- Mandatory steps before submission – from formal requirements to strategies for managing references and research data
- Publication and conference papers – key skills and an overview of current course offerings
- Essentials for your first publication – guidance and expertise from the TUM University Library
- Where to look for support – a reminder of the support structures available to doctoral candidates at TUM
- Q&A
The info event is scheduled to take place twice per semester. Join us for our first event 2026, which will take place online on 4 February, 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
