The Wüstenrot Stiftung is looking for applications from doctoral candidates whose dissertation projects align with the foundation’s key areas of work. These include, in particular, historic preservation, architecture and urban planning, sustainable urban and rural development, urban and housing sociology, and urban, regional, and state planning. Interdisciplinary research projects that address cross-cutting issues from the above-mentioned subject areas can also be funded.
There are two application deadlines per year: 1 May and 1 November.
