Information for Supervisors
As a supervisor, you guide young researchers in their work and support them in developing their own scientific profile. Our supervisor pages provide you with information and inspiration for a successful collaboration with your doctoral candidates.
From international recruitment of new doctoral candidates to submission of the dissertation: This section contains all the important information having to do with the doctoral process.
Based on international “best practice” approaches, the TUM Graduate School supports doctoral candidates and their supervisors with supplementary measures and services. It also offers a framework for the supervisory relationship.
Science, academia and research are more international than ever before. This is why the TUM Graduate School offers financial support for research stays abroad and for international conference attendance. There is a growing number of cooperation agreements with universities in other countries to intensify global dialogue and international networking.
In this section, we provide information about various financial support schemes offered by the TUM Graduate School. You may also find a first overview of TUM-external funding possibilities for doctoral projects as well as an overview of well-known dissertation awards.
