The Joachim Herz Foundation supports doctoral candidates and postdocs from different disciplines conducting inter-disciplinary research in the life sciences with a total amount of up to 12,500 Euro over a period of two years.
The fellowships do not include basic funding but enable:
- Interdisciplinary research and qualification (e.g., stays at a research lab and participation in conferences)
- Specialized equipment and tools (laptop, software, etc.)
- Participation in events of the Joachim Herz Foundation and fellow meetings (parts of the non-scientific program in German)
