Internationalization

These days, science, academia and research are more international than ever before. With this in mind, the TUM Graduate School offers financial support for research stays abroad and for international conference attendance. There are also a growing number of cooperation agreements with universities in other countries in order to intensify global dialogue and international networking.

TUM Graduate School internationalization support

The TUM Graduate School provides doctoral candidates with financial support if they wish to attend international conferences or spend several weeks doing research at higher education institutions in other countries. [more]

EuroTech Alliance

Within the framework of university alliances, cooperation and dialogue among member universities takes place at various levels. TUM-GS offers international dialogue and networking formats for doctoral candidates. [more]

Joint supervision and exchange programs

Besides financial support for self-organized international research stays, doctoral candidates may also apply for structured joint supervision and exchange programs offered jointly by the TUM and international partner universities. [more
