This series is designed to support you in incorporating a global dimension into your doctoral journey and broadening your research impact. Through these online events, held via Zoom, we’ll explore critical resources such as the TUM Graduate School's funding opportunities for international research stays and conference participation.
Our events highlight the academic landscapes of key regions such as the Chinese-speaking region. This is also a unique opportunity to engage directly with our TUM Liaison Officers, who will share firsthand insights into top research destinations, including Brazil, India, and the USA. You'll receive comprehensive and practical guidance on reaching out to scientists and research institutions abroad.
Registration is open to all TUM doctoral candidates interested in exploring different mobility options. We welcome you to join us and be part of this enriching experience. All sessions will be conducted via Zoom.
Going Abroad: Funding Opportunities of TUM-GS

Going Abroad: The Chinese-Speaking Region, including Singapore

This one-hour Zoom session, scheduled for 27 November at 12:00 CET, is designed for doctoral candidates from TUM interested in exploring research opportunities within the Chinese-speaking region, including Singapore. The featured spotlight talks will cover the structure and key aspects of the research systems in Mainland China, Taiwan, and Singapore, along with information on funding opportunities available to international researchers. (A talk on Singapore is still to be confirmed.) The session provides valuable perspectives for doctoral candidates considering research stays in one of these dynamic locations.
