In our info event “Towards the Finish Line – Preparing for Dissertation Submission”, we will guide you through everything you need to know for a successful dissertation submission at TUM. This includes administrative requirements and deadlines, strategies for mastering the final writing phase, and practical advice on publishing your thesis. We’ll also provide insights into available services, and share resources for planning your next career steps after obtaining your doctorate.
Among others, we will be covering the following topics:
- Preparing for submission – administrative tasks and deadlines
- From data to dissertation – Ideas and tips for structuring the writing phase
- How to publish the dissertation – guidance from the TUM University Library
- Essential information for the final doctoral stage – status change (TUM ID), open application or reimbursements for the TUM-GS internationalization support, and embossed certificate
- Career planning – resources and transferable skills training
- Q&A
The event will be held in English.
