Meet TUM Alumni Ambassador Polly Arnold
On February 25, 2021 you have the chance to meet the TUM Ambassador Polly Arnold.
Professor Polly Arnold from UC Berkeley was nominated TUM Ambassador in 2017. She is one of the leading specialists in the field of synthetic chemistry and a strong supporter of young female scientists. She addresses the under-representation of women in science linking it to the “unconscious bias” we all have.
In her online talk on February 25, 2021 she will give insights into her groundbreaking research in synthetic chemistry and her scientific career. Afterwards there will be time to ask questions and to discuss topics of diversity and equality in STEM fields with her.
