In a two-day workshop, the PhD students shared their expertise and methodological knowledge with their peers. The interdisciplinary context allowed them to benefit from the other disciplines for their own research work. Questions were answered in detail, problems were discussed or new methods were applied together. Other perspectives on their own work broadened their horizons and provided new ideas - either for their own work or joint projects.
Peer teaching among doctoral students from different disciplines working on the same research topic has proven to be a very constructive teaching format.
