The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) administers the scholarship programme “Bridge Scholarships Iran 2023” with funds from the Federal Foreign Office. As part of the programme, around 50 qualified Iranians, who had to leave their home country due to the current political situation and are already in Germany, will receive the possibility to begin or continue their academic career.

With this fellowship offer, the German Academic Exchange Service primarily addresses Iranian researchers who have a research or doctoral position at German universities or non-university research institutions and are already in Germany at the time of the application deadline. Doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and university teachers from all disciplines can apply for three months of funding from November 2023 to January 2024.
 
Applications can be submitted now via our online portal until 29 September 2023.
