Diversity counseling and contact points
In addition to the advisory services offered by the TUM Graduate School and its graduate centers, there are other extensive advisory services and contact points on diversity issues at TUM that are geared toward the different needs of the various target groups. There are also various contact points and networks outside TUM.
TUM Graduate Council
Doctoral candidates who have experienced discrimination or racism in their day-to-day research at TUM are welcome to contact the spokespersons of the TUM Graduate Council for peer support. The Graduate Council represents the interests of doctoral candidates and is a good (first) independent point of contact for all concerns of our doctoral candidates.

The TUM Family Service offers comprehensive advice on childcare options in and outside TUM and on holiday childcare in the Bavarian school holidays. Weisser Ring e.V.
Weisser Ring e.V. is a nationwide support organization for victims of crime, bullying and violence. The victim's helpline 116 006 is available daily from 7:00 – 22:00. - Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency

BEFORE e.V.
BEFORE is a counseling center in Munich for people confronted by right-wing and racist violence and discrimination. - Commissioner for the Disabled of the City of Munich
The Disability Commissioner is the point of contact for all Munich citizens with a disability and their relatives. The Pfennigparade advises people with physical disabilities and their relatives on social law issues, housing, support services, and financial matters. The Club Behinderter und ihrer Freunde e.V. München und Region (CBF) is an association that organizes joint events (e.g., wheelchair hikes) for disabled and non-disabled people in the Munich region. - Strong! LGBTIQ* counseling center for empowerment against discrimination and violence
Strong! is the first point of contact in Bavaria for LGBTIQ* people, their relatives, and friends who have experienced violence or discrimination. Strong! also provides support with questions relating to sexual orientation and identity, as well as coming out.
