The Welcome Office of the TUM Graduate School (TUM-GS) is the central point of contact for questions about doctoral research and qualification at TUM, regardless of whether you are interested in doing a doctorate at TUM or are already a TUM doctoral candidate and have questions or concerns about your doctorate.
The TUM-GS Welcome Office is also the first point of contact for international applicants and international doctoral candidates, who receive comprehensive advice on visa and entry formalities, residence permits, finding accommodation, living in Germany, and much more.
In addition to its advisory activities, the TUM-GS Welcome Office organizes a variety of onboarding and welcome events, as well as regular target group-specific information formats on doctoral research and qualification at TUM.
