The ZD.B Fellowship comprises the funding of a research position according to TV-L E13 (100%) to perform a PhD project at a Bavarian state University (i.e. University or University of Applied Sciences) for a period of generally three years. The funding is scheduled to start from 01.01.2018.
The Center Digitization.Bavaria (Zentrum Digitalisierung.Bayern, short: ZD.B) represents a core element of the strategy BAYERN DIGITAL (BAVARIA DIGITAL) – implemented by the Bavarian government. The strategy was developed in order to actively shape the digitization of both society and business and to exploit the chances offered by digitization even more. Therefore, the ZD.B was established as a platform for research, collaboration, innovation and entrepreneurship with the purpose of further strengthening the digital competences in Bavaria, extending cooperations between industry and research on key topics in this area and intensifying start-up support.
