From the winter semester 2023/2024 (October 1st, 2023) on there will be a reduced version of the Deutschlandticket for 29 Euros/month. The ticket allows you to use the regional public transport (bus, subway, S-Bahn, regional trains) throughout Germany. The ticket will be available for all doctoral candidates who are enrolled at TUM. The regular semester ticket and the IsarCardSemester are suspended. Pre-orders of the reduced ticket can be made from 10th August 2023 on for October 2023. Doctoral candidates who are not enrolled can continue to use the Deutschlandticket for 49 Euros. Further information concerning enrollment as a doctoral candidate can be found here.
