TUM Graduate Dean joins EUA-CDE Steering Committee

Prof. Hans-Joachim Bungartz has been appointed to the steering committee of the Council for Doctoral Education (CDE).

The CDE is part of the European University Assocation (EUA). With 850 members across 47 countries, EUA is the largest and most comprehensive organisation representing universities in Europe. The mission of the EUA Council for Doctoral Education (EUA-CDE) is to contribute to the development, advancement and improvement of doctoral education and research training in Europe. 

As an active member, TUM Graduate School is involved in many EUA-CDE activities and has hosted the annual meeting in 2015.

The appointment of Prof. Bungartz to the EUA-CDE steering committee underlines the commitment of TUM-GS to take on a leading role in developing and implementing international best practices of doctoral education.
