The EIT Urban Mobility, supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), acts to accelerate positive change on mobility to make urban spaces more livable by engaging cities and citizens, putting new mobility solutions into practice, and reclaiming public space for public use.

The Doctoral Training Network (DTN) offers doctoral candidates the unique opportunity to build a network throughout Europe while strengthening technical expertise and fostering entrepreneurial and innovative skills. The two-year doctoral program includes a 4-6 month international placement. Doctoral candidates from TUM and other EIT Urban Mobility partner universities can apply until June 11, 2023.

TUM doctoral candidates become IGSSE members after being accepted to the DTN. Please find more information here and contact Corinna Niederreiter (DTN Program Manager at IGSSE) or Dr.-Ing. Benjamin Büttner (Head of DTN, Chair of Urban Structure and Transport Planning) for more information.
