Call for Applications - Google PhD Fellowship 2024

Aktuelles |

+++ The initial call for the Google PhD Fellowship was already published on our website in July 2023. Due to changes in the timeline, the call was now postponed to spring 2024. +++

The Google PhD Fellowship Program was created to recognize outstanding graduate students doing exceptional and innovative research in areas relevant to computer science and related fields. Fellows will receive a yearly bursary towards their stipend/salary, health care, social benefits, tuition and fees (if applicable), conference travel and personal computing equipment. The funds will be given directly to the university to be distributed to cover the fellow’s expenses and stipend as appropriate. The bursary varies by country and may be granted for up to 2 years (effective from 2024 for new recipients). In addition, the fellow will be matched with a Google Research Mentor. There is no employee relationship between the fellow and Google as a result of receiving the fellowship. The award does not preclude future eligibility for internships or employment opportunities at Google, nor does it increase the chances of obtaining them.

Further information on the Fellowship, as well as on the eligibility criteria, application FAQ etc. can be found at
