This course provides a structured approach to becoming familiar with your new living and research environment, understanding the requirements for a successful doctoral program at TUM, and discovering the support services and resources available to you.
During the program, new doctoral candidates will receive support to address potential intercultural challenges of integrating into the German research culture and learn techniques to enhance their resilience. The course includes an online welcome session followed by a three-day in-person intercultural training at the TUM Graduate School. Plus, we organize an optional networking event, where you can explore Munich and connect with fellow researchers.
