Welcome @TUM-GS Event Program
The TUM Graduate School invites all doctoral candidates who started their doctorate within the last 12 months to take part in our Welcome@TUM-GS Event Program! Meet your peers in a leisurely setting to explore TUM, Munich and its surroundings. Each semester, we will be inviting you to different kinds of events: a field trip, a museum visit, an event related to TUM as well as a Munich-related event.
The number of available places for particular events is limited. On the following pages, you can find detailed information on our event program, registration procedure, participation fee as well as our terms and conditions.

Our event program for the Summer Semester 2026 takes full advantage of the spring and summer season, featuring excursions, our traditional summer hike to Kloster Andechs, and guided Munich city tours. [more]
Terms and conditions
Registration is available 4 weeks prior to the event via cultural-events@gs.tum.de. After registering, you will receive an e-mail with payment details. About one week prior to the event you will receive more details about the meeting point and further organizational matters. [more]
