It introduces current problem areas and simultaneously stimulates a discussion about the extent and direction in which we want and can shape the future with and in the Alps. The accompanying program surrounding the exhibition also allows for an interactive and personal encounter with the topic.

Also, is Luther really the "father of the Christmas tree," and what is a Christmas pickle? We'll get to the bottom of all of these questions on our Christmas tour through the historic center of Augsburg! Discover traditional Christmas customs and winter tales from the city, with its Christkindlmarkt being one of the oldest Christmas markets in Germany. The market itself dates back to the 15th century and has officially been called "Christkindlesmarkt" since 1949. And to this day, it has lost none of its appeal.
